Patrick Dempsey Helps Rescue Teen From Overturned Vehicle

Sometimes life imitates art, or something like that.

Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey channeled his inner Dr. McDreamy this week when he helped rescue a teenager who careened off the road and overturned his car completely near the actor's property in Malibu, Calif.

The car had rolled repeatedly and was totaled.

Dempsey reportedly ran toward the car with crowbar in hand so he could pry the driver out of the wrecked Mustang, and was successful.

A neighbor called 911 and the police came, with paramedics treating the crash victim for a concussion, and stunningly nothing worse.

Patrick, of course, never mentioned any of this. No word who the kid who crashed is, but Shawn Ryan, the creator of The Shield, tweeted:

"True Story: Grey's Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey pulled my friend's son out of an overturned car after bad accident on Tuesday. #GoodDude"

Thank about an #understatement.

Calvin Johnson Wins Madden '13 Cover Vote

We're very sorry, Detroit Lions fans. But Calvin Johnson will suffer a debilitating injury any day now.

Indeed, the superstar wideout known as "Megatron" was voted by fans as the new cover star for wildly popular video game Madden '13, knocking off Carolina quarterback Cam Newton in the finals, despite Newton's funny appeal to sports fans.

It's been years, however, since the football player who appeared on this cover actually went on to enjoy a successful season.

"Man, it's great," Johnson said upon being named the winner, shaking off any notion of a cover jinx. "Just to see yourself on this Madden [cover] and seeing all the guys that have been on Madden? C'mon, man."

Over 20 million fans voted in the contest, with with Johnson beating out Dwayne Bowe, Arian Foster, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Rodgers on his way to the championship.

David Guetta Teases 'Crazy' New Usher Collaboration

French producer/DJ opens up about working with his 'Without You' partner again.

Well, it looks like David Guetta and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> will have a new one for you to play over and over again soon. </P><P> </P><P>The French hitmaker teased to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/david-guetta-usher-collaborating-new-song-coachella-315394"_blank"><i>The Hollywood Reporter</i></a> that he's worked with the R&B star on new music. "These are really big records that we're working on right now," he said of the twosome's latest work. "It's really crazy." </P><P> </P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:713197/cp~vid%3D713197%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A713197" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center> </P><P> </P><P>How crazy? According to Guetta, "really, really, really crazy." </P><P> </P><P>While it's unknown when the music will appear, the two recently hit the stage together at Coachella. And Guetta was just as surprised as his audience by the last-minute performance. "I was playing, and then he came to hang out and just to have a good time," he told the <i>Hollywood Reporter.</i> "Then I saw him on the side of the stage and I gave him the sign. He was like, 'Do you want me to do it with you? To come on stage?' and I was like, 'Hell yeah! Of course!' </P><P> </P><P>Guetta and Usher found chart success together back in 2011 with <a href="/news/articles/1674782/usher-david-guetta-without-you.jhtml"> "Without You."</a> And the singer explained that it was just the right time and place for it. </P><P> </P><P> "I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I've actually been on in the last three years," Usher said about that song and how it relates to his musical philosophy. "Traveling all around the world, music sounds different.
